This qualification reflects the role of Diploma level educators in early childhood education and care who wish to work in children’s education and care services in Australia and Internationally. Educators at this level are responsible for designing and implementing a curriculum that meets the requirements of an approved learning framework and for maintaining compliance in other areas of service operations. They use specialized knowledge and analyze and apply theoretical concepts to diverse work situations. They may have responsibility for the supervision of volunteers or other educators.

Class days: Weekend
Assessment: Assignments and logbook
Practical placement: 540 hours within course period
Entry requirements: Certificate in Children’s Services / AL’s 3 passes / NVQ 4 in Early Childhood Education

Tertiary and Vocational Education Commission (TVEC) is the Sri Lankan state body responsible for the policy planning, regulation and development of tertiary and vocational education. MTIA is a registered Training Institution under the registration number P01/0708. The Diploma in Child Care Centre Management is a registered course that is accredited to be equivalent to the NVQ 6 National Diploma Syllabus of “Child Care Center Management”.

The Australian Children’s Education and Care Quality Authority (ACECQA) is an independent statutory authority that assists governments in implementing the National Quality Framework for early childhood education and care throughout Australia. Since the Diploma in Child Care Center Management is on ACECQA’s approved list of Diploma qualifications, graduates can use this program to work in any part of Australia.

ECCTIS is a credential evaluation service that shows the recognition of overseas qualifications in the UK.
